Okay, so why am I endorsing something which I really don't like (which is clubbing)? Only because my friends are performing, as Sublime, on that day. Hell, it might even be enough for me to actually go? Save, I'm actually tempted to go and support them but there's only one thing. Personal space there is limited to less than 1 metre square, something which I treasure a lot. (Really guys, paying $16-18 to just hear rather generic music and smell other people's sweat and watch people get drunk and ugh, pay for drinks. Cocktail bars at home are cheaper dudes. Let's not forget 'dancing'.)
But let me assure you, Sublime really is a good band. So good that I'm actually planning to brave the depths of Gotham Penthouse to go and pay to watch them. And leave immediately when the uh 'music' comes on.
Seriously guys, what is it with endless hip hop and R&B? I don't like techno much (the type Ben listens to anyway) but we all know deep down in our hearts that techno is the dance music for clubs. I don't understand how people only go to clubs which play R&B and HipHop ALL NIGHT. You're destroying DJs with braincells. :\
Just give me a good ol' jazz bar or soccer-pub.
Yah, so the other good reason of going would be actually catching me there. HAHA. No seriously.
