blue sky holiday
Nov. 23rd, 2005 12:32 amWatching EXTREME JAPAN made me reminisce about last year's trip to Osaka and Kyoto. Especially about the time I got errr Lost-in-Nipponbashi. :D()()
EEEEEE Osaka Kaiyukan on Extreme Japan!! My absolutest favourite place in the world as of the moment!!!! AHH NOT FAIR THEY GOT TO FEED THE WHALE SHARK.
Yeah, so I got lost after rushing to Nipponbashi's Animate and ended up walking in circles around the whole block of shops looking for the trainstation. Save, I did find the train-station that was indicated on my trusty map, just that I realized that it wasn't the main line that led me home. Which also meant that I got confused and ended up walking around in circles approximately 5 times in the rain with all the store owners wondering what the fuck was wrong with me. I ended up taking a gamble and buying random ticket to GodKnowsWhere because the trainstation peope (they were very nice, don't get me wrong) couldn't understand my English or my Japanese. XDXDXDXD I was like, "Eh... how do you get to this station?" and "Eh... kono eki .... eto..." and rubbish like that. The rather ridiculous thing was that when I asked, "Ano, eigo wakarimasu ka?" THEY SAID YES. HAHAHAA. HAHAHAHAA. <3 Silly Osakans. So anyway, with the great stroke of luck from what, Kannon, I found my way to the main Umeda station and got back to the hotel. Apparently the Nipponbashi station belonged to a private line which I didn't know existed. And that's why I couldn't find any of the stations on my train-map that coincided with Nipponbashi. XD
( MEME! )
