phyll that the local Comics Connection sells the (fake!) Fullmetal Alchemist pocket watch for $39.90 fake Flamel necklace included ;D, I went to the Bishan branch to take a look. No luck. Out of stock. But at least they knew it existed. XD

So I asked my dad to go to Jurong Point to check out that branch. My dad, being lazy (aren't we all?), asked me to call them up and ask if they have any in the first place. I did, and to my dismay THEY HAD NO STOCK.

Thus, I proceeded to call upon the other 18 branches. YES YOU GOT THAT RIGHT. I CALLED 19 BRANCHES! And the HQ, but they weren't answering the phone. :\ Bow down to Soshi now. XD()() I called 20 places up.

The thing that irked me was that half of the places didn't know that it existed, and they were rude about it, like I was some weird obsessive fangirl who has a penchant for watches. Not that I'm not, of course. However some outlets like *blatant favouritism here!!!* Bishan, Tiong Bahru, Woodlands, Kovan and a few more which I can't remember because I called up 20 places, knew about it and were heartbreakingly polite about the whole fiasco. They were courteous and everything a sales-person should be. SINGAPOREANS, PATRONISE THESE STORES ONLY! XDXD The rest like *hiss*FarEast*hiss* suxxorz! Actually, FarEast's guy was just surly. The Pasir Ris people were just plain "afjd;lafgeita".

Anyway, I basically went of an FMA shopping spree *squeee* today. After being dejected at CC, I looked around and found the FMA Characters boxes and bought one. <3 I GOT HUGHES. HUGHES. <3 But it was a rather UGLY HUGHES. I did no justice to him.

After that, I pranced over to Action City (also the Bishan branch, WHERE THEY HAVE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS STAFF! <3<3) to look at the figurines. To my UTTER HAPPINESS, there was a FMA gashapon machine, nearly empty with the series 2 gashapon. I got Ed. <3 Why do I always seem to get Ed whenever I play with gashapons? Not that I'm complaining of course... *Edo-mame fangirl*

I was rustling the Naruto figurines boxes a bit, so the polite and courteous ~~not to mention cute~~ salesgirls asked me specifically which character I was looking for. Most probably because they didn't want to see me actually destroy their display. ;D()() And my heart leaped. They actually asked for the character's names. Knowledgable salespeople! YAY~~~! <3

Well duh, I was looking for Kakashi. But he was out-of-stock. DARN. They me to come back next week (?) or on Wednesday, I can't remember. So then they were very helpful with all my enquiries about the (fake!!!) FMA Flamel necklace on display, which cost a scant SG$9, and with the keychains. I bought 4 keychains <3 and the Flamel necklace. I'd love to buy the original one, when I get the chance though. The fake one's chain is HUGE. O_O|||

So that's about it! My FMA odessey. EDO-MAME. DO YOU SEE WHAT I DO FOR YOU?

I need to call HQ tomorrow. AND DEMAND FOR A POCKET WATCH.
