Dec. 22nd, 2004 09:31 amLast night, just before she left on a jet plane, Cheryl texted me to tell me that she was leaving for Japan. First thing that went through my mind, "WTF? NOW?!"
Sure I know that she was going, but it was more of a "eh, she said might. So might it shall be." And yesterday she calls me at Changi airport.
ARGGGHHHHHHHH I WANT TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOO. She's going to OSAAAKAAAAAAA.... Who will appreciate the Kansai-ben~~~
Please ignore the fact that I've been to Japan three times already, more than most people ;D
So she asked me what I wanted.
Eh, the whole of Japan? XD()() Come on, what was I supposed to say, the person with one of the most expensive hobbies in the world? (Don't include stuff like collecting sports cars or airplanes or wtf bath-tubs.) In the end, I just told her "anything" will do. I really hope she brings back something. Like a leaf, or a bottle of water, or SOMETHING. Anything from Japan will just send me to the clouds.
I sound like an obsessive fangirl, don't I?
BUT IT'S FREAKING JAPAN.Everyone seems to be going. Hana-chan *gets punched* is planning to go, Cheryl is there, maybe the whole of Nepal is there...
Watching BLEACH 11 last night, I was positively pinching myself to stop imaging Ishida wearing a NARUTO headband and Sasuke wearing the Quincy costume. They sound exactly alike (nevermind the fact that they have Nontan as their seiyuu or that both of them are the last of their kind, geniuses...) to the extent that it's scary. Scary-funny. And they had Ishida to the Inui glasses flash thing. :\ What's up with that?! Stop flashing glasses!
Approximately SG$13,000, not counting the amount I'd be spending on new clothes (for the weather) and anime merchandise, manga, for a year in Japan is just... insane. For three month's though, the price is SG$5,000. It's this 'study in Tokyo' programme that I desperately want to take part in. I'm going starve myself to go.
Y'see, I need around SG$120 a month for food. So if I cut that all out and just spend around SG$60 for food, I'd have a minimum of SG$720 of savings a year. Wait. That means I would need six years to save $5000? D: Scratch that. Maybe I can save half or 3/4s of it, and score insanely well for my A levels and get my parents to sponsor the rest.
I hope they strike the lottery.
I brought my Christmas cards to work, hoping that I can complete writing all the little notes and decorating them etcetc. Then I opened my bag and discovered that I brought the envelopes only. BAH. I'm so muddle-headed.
I remember when I was in primary school, the teachers made us (or was it in Secondary school?) sing "We wish you a merry christmas" over and over again because we prounounced it as "We wishuu a mery christmas". XDXD It was HELLISHLY ANNOYING.
I need to stamp "reject" on a 10cm thick pile of paper. Yeaaaaaaah.
