PROJECT 2005

spiderpigIn the light that my mum might be able to go to San Fransisco (and take me along!! *_*) next year, if she hits her job quota, I've managed to convince her that its worthwhile to have a stopover in LA. Sadly, I think Disneyland is out of the picture :\. Therefore, in order to finance myself (I feel really bad to expect her to pay for everything), I'm embarking on what I call: PROJECT 2005: Finance the Spiderpig. One of my objectives on going to LA, would be to take pictures and stuff, and the other is to hopefully stalk meet Hans and probably Ellen (:D) and other people who I know. Which is probably not many. :\
The first step of this fund-raiser XD is me trying to help my mum sell mooncakes at school so she can hit her quota of selling 6000 points of something like that. Since most of you who read my LJ don't live in Singapore, nor don't live really near me. I won't extend the orders out because THE MOONCAKES WOULD ROT BY THE TIME THEY REACH YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE.
The second step, which I will start in December, is more art related. Since my drawings aren't really sellable (oh come on, how am I supposed to sell my stuff when there are people like Hans and Shads around XP?), I'll be sewing dolls. Yes, you've heard that right. This spiderpig sews custom felt dolls! I'll post up a sample picture in December. They're really cute and all, and I doubt I'd sell them really expensive? because although its my speciality and I'm really good at it, its hand-sewn. Wait a minute, shouldn't I charge it MORE then? Anyway, the dolls are approximately 8-9 inches tall and about half an inch thick. I've been making these dolls for 3 years (I skipped out this year because I was too busy) for the seniors who passed out from the band. They should cost from about USD$3-5 (OR AM I CHARGING YOU PEOPLE TOO CHEAPLY?!), that's about SGD$5-9. I should be able to do almost any character/design you throw at me, but well, if I don't manage to produce a good replica, I'll charge you cheaper. When the time arrives, I'll be collecting orders through Paypal. So like, KEEP YOUR POCKETS FULL FOR SOSHI/ALICA M'KAY?

i'll definitely buy, but i think the shipping might cause more than the doll ^^ oh well, i'll wait til you get it all settle down and we'll see.
oh, and disneyland, you're not missing much. i live like ~5 min. drive from there, and i only been there once cause my parents forced me. everything's expensive and too many people. long lines for the rollercoasters. the only best thing about it is the fireworks. very touching and moving ^___^
