holiday 01

Spent the first day of my vacation sleeping. Weather was perfect!
Then I woke up with a friggin' neck ache. Which has been plaguing me the whole day. I can't turn my neck left and up at the same time, and it hurts like I don't know fuck? when I try to do so.
Slightly incapacitated and having slept the morning away, I only had enough time to strike off a couple of items on my To-Do list. Namely, throw out all the unwanted notes from this semester (or should I say 'last semester'?) and stow away the excessively-illegal photocopies of books and texts that I amassed for this one year. I have everything and anything from Japanese textbooks (not the whole books, just enough for me to revise), kimono-patterns to why Southeast Asia was colonized by the West. Not much lit readings this semesters, except for 5 back-breaking books so less to throw anyway.
My desk looks abnormally neat. I feel alienated from it.
As you can see from the previous post, I did a photo-shoot for my Miku nendoroid (more coming up soon) outside on the porch. The blue sky-light my dad had put up ages ago made the photos turn out more blue than I hoped for so I had to do some color-adjustments in photoshop. Urgh. I'm helluva lazy so most of my previous photos had almost nothing done to them. Since I was at it, I inserted my hanko-signature on.
Speaking of hanko, I'm thinking of either doing up my name-cards as either i) my hanko on a solid background or ii) my hanko on some of the Japan photographs I took back in 2007. Hmmm. Decisions and indecisions!
After dinner, my mum nagged at me about the insane number of figure boxes I have so... I proceeded to do the possibly most blasphemous thing ever? I folded my boxes! And threw out most of the plastic-inserts/holders. Seriously, I have absolutely no intention of selling any of my figures (save for maybe a few which I've grown out off) so there's no real point in keeping my boxes in pristine condition. Even if I do end up selling them away (egads NO), I still have the boxes which will be filled with excessive amounts of newspaper and styrofoam fillers to ensure that the sold figure won't arrive in shambles. I'm anal about packaging so yeah.
.... My anal retentiveness extends to holiday planning. I offered to type up the hostel-lists for
gssq so I might as well get started on it. It's killing two birds with one stone since I'll need a neat page of the hostels in the future too. O:
AND, I need to get started on the Tokyo-Singapore Transport Planning essay. If I don't get into the programme I'll... I'll... I don't know what I'll do!!!!!!!!! @__@ (Japanese blog will be updated daily, I hope, starting today!)
..................The tone of this entry feels a lot like my neck. Apologies.
