I need a new seat in class
Aug. 14th, 2004 02:38 pmIts week seven of the term. I think I know why my results are rolling over and falling dead. Its the company I sit with. Its not like they're bad people, but they distract me from concentrating in class and overall, their attitudes suck.
I think I was pissed off with someone because she wouldn't believe me when a sarong kebaya is tight or something like that. I remember ferverently insisting that she was wrong and it made me really mad.
Anyway, like a whole lot of us went to Sakae Sushi to stuff ourselves silly with the 3 hour buffet. I ate around 12 plates? Which is kinda all "mmeeehhh" because usually my appetite's much bigger. HOWEVER, its all fine and dandy because I need to lose 5kg badly. Doris brought her gown to school the other day and we were all "wooooow" and *_* over the flow-y skirt and the ambigious sequined thing. I swear its either an octopus, squid, flower, bird or something else even more insane. Yay for weird sequined designs! Er yeah, back to the swallowing of food.
I arrived a little late because we had this Chemistry SPA. Science Practical Assessment kids, not a spa with potassium and what not. ;D We had to test the amount of carbonate in different shells and there was pandemonium in the lab. Breaking of apparatus, and I kept to blowing/spilling/destroying all the shell samples that I collected on filter paper. :\
Anyway, I squished myself in a booth with the rest and we gossipped about Ugly Snorlax's boyfriend, the secondary 1 China Trip and discussed the plans to have a huge outting after the O Levels, to which I'm thinking, "wtf, what about my birthday?" :p Later, almost all of them left and only Mer, WJ and I stayed behind to pick apart the little bits of tempura tamago. Mmmm.
So. I had my GCSE O Level Oral Examination on Wednesday and I personally think I did better doing the prelims. The passage reading was a-okay, but the picture just tortured the hell outta me. There was this clown in a classroom full of kids. I did rather well for the most part (excuse me but I'm trying to make myself feel better) but then the examiners had to ruin it all by asking me, "What do you think the children have learnt from the clown?" My initial was "wtf?!" then I said something like, "Well, I don't think they really learnt anything? Afterall, they're just here to enjoy themselves..." and some other rubbish. Then, the redeem myself, I danced. No, seriously. During the Conversation part, they asked me which funny show do I remember. I said, "Singapore Idol" enthusiastically only because it was the only funny show I could remember. There was this guy who sung "Lemon Tree" and had stupid actions to go along with it, so I mimed it out for the examiners. Thank the LORD they laughed and found it cute. So that was my desperate attempt at saving my ass. Hopefully I can still my distinction, despite the crap I put them through. ;___;
The iPod is turning some heads in school, which is NOT what I wanted to happen. But ah well. :\
With the exams coming, my life is getting duller everyday. I've been trying to get people to come to my house, and now someone is obsessed about coming over and it scares me. I've been rejecting herpleas requests to hang out with her, not because I don't like her, but only because I'm really tired and busy and... yeah right. :p
The Quiz Results from that quiz below *points down* are surprisingly. My JUNIOR got 90 and it FREAKS THE HELL OUT OF ME. How the hell did she get so high? Most people got 60-80. Silla failed. XD;; But I still love you Silla!!!! <3
