The comprehension killed me for a number of reasons. Firstly, the questions were deceptively based on common sense. Haha. Then the summary killed me, leaving me nearly no time to finish the AQ, which I could do!!!

So anyway, that's that and I think I did awesome for the essay. Hello A2? :)

Economics
Contrary to what most people said about the essay section, I found it reasonably doable, thanks to the efforts of Mrs Neo. I mean seriously. Without her, I'd probably be crying after the paper. I steered clear off the FOREX question which everyone, whether they knew what they were talking about or not, did. I ended up doing two micro questions and one macro, to the behest of some students. Say hello to micro-extraordinaire!

Now the MCQ was a tricky affair. It was, thank God, doable because of the insane amount of practicing I'd been doing. Nevertheless a lot of questions threw me off. Like that fucking labor production grid. :\

DRQ and CSQ was..... VIRTUAL WATER CONTENT? WTF? I lambasted the idea thoroughly while trying my best to throw in some economic terms. Another gripe: the questions were so out-of-context that there was nearly no way you could comfortably fit in economic concepts! At least, for a student like me. :\

International Hist
................................................... Excessive use of ellipsis can only describe this paper.

However! In retrospect I don't think I did it too badly.

PC
:D Annie Proulx! Haha! and Ozymandias! :D I like! These two might very well save my ass for literature and all the incompleted essays I've been submitting. Laborious picking-aparts of sentence structure is my forte so give me prose and I fly.

SEA Hist
Was much much more a relaxing paper after IH. Hopefully I can get an A for this (God Save my SBQ skills!) as long as my originally 21/25 for SBQ comes back into play. Still, by far it was much easier. I predicted that a Great Depression question would come out, and yay it did. So I did that and my pet topics of nationalism. :) I love SEAH. Hahaha, YOU HEAR THAT RAJOO?

Lit 3
Lit 3 was... Well, I enjoyed the pants off of myself when I was doing it. HOD, GM and BNW.

Of course GM was a disaster waiting to happen because I didn't finish the essay and I only, like LDJ managed to discuss a few dramatic methods. Still... I hope it'll do fine. HOD and BNW however, I really threw out all the interpretations and literary philosophies that I knew. It hurt my brain. :\

Lit 5
Firstly, I did all essays - no context at all. I don't know if this was suicide in a sense, but hell, the passages were insanely long and I had a stroke of sheer stupidity of thinking "hey let's bit them back in the ass and I'll give them my choice of passages that strain nearly 10 pages!"

Actually the main reason why I did that was because the scenes and prose were integral as a whole. You can't just cut out and separate one part of the play from another. It's just too hard because it flows too well.

So for Atwood, I attempted the question on how Nick was integral to the play. I think I did it fairly well. I nearly went off course a while because I ended up waxing lyrical about Offred but always managed to insert a "Thus he is acts as a function for Offred to..." and all that question connectors. It wasn't too bad. Clocked a fair, sizeable amount before moving on to Blake.

Now BLAKE. Blake. Blake Blake. I really wish they gave a more kickass question in a sense. The Animals essay question kinda threw me off, although I managed to gain back some momentum by chucking in the Lion, Tyger and the ickle Lamb as subjects of contention. I wanted to include the Fly too but 1) Is the Fly an insect or an animal? and 2) I had no time. So, save for a cursory mention of it, the two big cats and one lone lamb predominated my essay. Not too shabbily done, if I might say so myself.

Besides not finishing LDJ (wtf. how can i not finish my favourite text and spend so much effing time on atwood. :\) I am devastated because I didn't manage to use my favourite find of the century haha hyperbole yo

"Even under the influence of the narcotic draught, of which songs of all primitive men and peoples speak, or with the potent coming of spring that penetrates all nature with joy, these Dionysian emotions awake, and as they grow in intensity everything subjective vanishes into complete self-forgetfulness.".

I LOVE THIS LINE. Wah lau, I wrote so little and I wrote extremely superficial things too. :\ But anyway, the superficial things I tried to make them seem more intellectual by woooaaahh giving them insights. That no one else will give and no one else will ever have because I've forgottten what I wrote! I can't believe myself!? I know I wrote things of awesomeness even under really dumb topic sentences of "AND O'NEILL USES STAGE DIRECTIONS!!!" and "HE USES DIALOGUE AND MONOLAOGKSJD:ADS!!!" ......... still, things of awesomeness are now gone because of my goldfish brain. Haha, no more Angus Ross for me~.

Sincerely, I really felt a great loss as I was struggling to finish the essay within 40 minutes. I only managed to cover a few dramatic methods, but hopefully my laborious picking-aparts and insertions of "gravy" as JTan calls it, will get me a decent grade for this essay... and the Overall Sacred, Sacrosanct A.

O Dear. I finished clearing out the shelves! All my O Level things will be thrown to my brother or recycled and A Level things.... Will be kept lovingly. :D

There's a Kinokuniya 20% discount today and tomorrow! I'm grabbing some cash to spend mad dollars and cents there tomorrow after going to Vivocity with Sim. :D Ah, the joys of living.

However! I do feel slightly at a lost at what to do. You can't blame me, can you? I've been dedicated to beating this academic, government sanctioned rat race for the majority of my life and now you tell me that I'm free... I feel like a house-dog let free in the streets. I need work. I need stress.

I need to find a job.
