Uh, let's see... I haven't talked about school specifically for days? Mein gott! That's like some kind of anomaly.
But there was nothing much to talk about - or was there? Alright, there were interesting things happenening -
Like that kickass awesome college advisor present at the Study-In-US booth. I asked her about Vassar and Amherst and she knew what I was talking about and I love her lots because she answered all my questions and stuff.
I'm sorry, but I have to do a Gabriel Tan here and say that I am quite certain, grades wise, most of CJC can't make it to a decent US college. Though that statement precludes me so I AM NOT BEING A HUGE ANAL BITCH.
The Journalism and Law career talks during the first day were... informative. I'm quite certain that I am going to do an Arts/Humanities degree in NUS rather than travel to NTU's School of Communication and Information. Seriously, the whole schtick the NTU presenter was doing did not impress me at all. I'm quite set on not going there.
Law on the other hand, is tempting but probably not for me. I'd go up during class and start talking rubbish in this corny voice WHICH IS UTTERLY UN-LAWYER LIKE. I'd just screw myself, and everyone up and besides, I don't think I qualify in the first place. But anyway, I appreciated the Law talk but I love the Journalism one.
Though, what was Simon Tan doing, meeting girls at tennis courts. My God lah. Eh, CJC guys reading this, you should all become a lawyer to pick up hot lolita-esque girls to satisfy your needs. Whatever needs.
Rachel says that I should grow my hair out and start looking like Joyce Hooi so I get straight As. HAHAHA. >__>()() Tell me that no one else thinks that I look like Joyce Hooi.
Yeergh. Prelims are like, 4 Sundays away and I'm... am I ready? Not entirely, but I wouldn't screw up too badly if I took my exams now ( = CCD).
I've been obsessing over the whole notion of Mr Kurtz with Clare (by which I mean her brother, and not Mr Kurtz from HOD) and drawing retarded stick-figures of people during GP lectures. But yes, Clare's coming over tomorrow and I have a few hours to clean up and make my room presentable before she arrives. Like woah! I haven't had anyone over for a long time.
But wtf, I hate being of the female sex lah. I'm like IN PAIN and I CANNOT SLEEP PROPERLY. Hoi! You men out there! Observe as we women suffer to reproduce more of your kind!

Date: 2006-08-04 02:48 pm (UTC)Gabrielyou. LOL, sad huh? But actually I think it's easier to get into US than UK cos they go by SATS. And SAT is frikkin easy, I did it at O levels and got 1200 (which could get me into UCLA). The only problem with SATs is that the exam is bloody long.
