And is a GOOAAALL!!
May. 8th, 2004 10:32 pmWoo-hoo! I went for a rather oka~y literature seminar today and had a little fun. Some guys were "Hey, how much is one ticket?" (They're free.)
Me: $7
Guys: So if its on a week-day, it'll be $6.50?
Me: Hey! This is not a theatre you know! :p
Guys: Hahaha...
Me: You guys want popcorn too?
Guys: Really? You have some? Where?
Me: There. In the black bag.
I pointed to the rubbish bags and it took them quite a while to realise that I was making fun of them. At the end of one of the presentations, I nearly rolled down the steps and made a fool of myself . >////<
But the main highlight of today, is eating dinner with my friends! I went with Meryl, Melissa, Doris, Rebecca, Caiyu, Mok, Weixin, Eileen, Brianna and SiHui~! <3<3 Laaaaaaaaav. We wanted to eat at ChompChomp (oh, I love the way we name our food-courts), but it was TOO CROWDED, so we walked around and found a Japanese/Korean restaurant Momiji. Actually, we only ate there because they were broadcasting the EPL Saturday match on their big screen outside. XD And the food was relatively cheaper than Cafe Cartel, which also showed the EPL match, but had food that would burn a hole in our pockets. Having no money, I borrowed $10 from Meryl to eat. ;___; I'm such a poor person. The match started, and the 11 of us were yelling and screaming every "tame" vulgarity we could shout. All in dialect of course. Caiyu commented that this was the refined version of a coffee shop. XD I never had so much fun watching a football match with my friends ever! We must do this more often. All the guys there were kinda shocked to see us cheering and boo-ing along with them. :\ Bleh.
Mmm. I can still taste the spicy chicken udon. :D~
