I have a confession to make.

When I first heard MCR and The Used two years ago, I somehow or other dismissed them without really wanting to listen. I was still in that God Forbid boyband and bubblegum pop phase. Nothing wrong with that though. I still love my Backstreet Boy (who threw me into the river of mainstream music), but uhm Britney Spears leaves much to be desired, as with A1. Embarrassed and sheepish grin here. I felt that the said bands were too emo and too angsty, which was probably both good and bad for my mental health at that time. XDXD But its funny, even when they became popular recently with the whole MTV generation going 'OMFG MCR ROX MY SOX. I HATE *insert random band* PUT ON MCR!!!!!!1' I still refused to listen??

Then one day my brother slipped me a couple of songs ever so slyly on our shared iPod. BAM. I got hooked. Funny.

Same thing goes for Fall Out Boy. I absolutely was ANNOYED when Sugar, We're Going Down came out because it was overplayed and it didn't appeal to me at that point of time.

Then I saw their MTV and got (wtf?!?!) intrigued by it all and put it on replay on iTunes. Now FOB is one of my favourite bands.

Call it easy brainwashing but the way I listen to music is really weird. The introduction of last.fm brought the weirdness up a notch further. I got to listen to bands that I rarely ever got to listen to for whatever reason, and listened to a lot of their songs. P!ATD is now one of my music babies that I play to no end along with other bands Yen and Bobo got me into, said I.M and Straylight Run.

So bands! Get me to hate your song first and then blast it in my ear once and for all, because after that I'd become your loyal supporter!

And so, here are the top 10 songs that I'm currently very into, by no order of preference. A modified meme that you can take up if y'want to.

• Attention Attention - The Academy Is For some reason, this is extremely catchy to me and when I randomly sing it my parents think that I'm trying to make an announcement. :\ Humor aside, this is like the perfect emo-but-not-so-emo song (if you catch my drift) about all of us wanting that little bit more attention in our lives.


• Grand Theft Autumn - Fall Out Boy Grand Theft Auto this is not, but woah. Lyrics <3


• Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Off Her Clothes - Panic! At The Disco


• The Rhythm - The Cat Empire This is one of the few songs that makes me feel like dancing, and that's saying something! And there's no denying that it's incredibly sexy. TCE's Hello Hello comes a close second for the sexiest dance-ing song ever. PLUS! TRUMPETS AND SAXOPHONES!!


• Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen You cannot deny that this is the fucking best anthemn ever. I love my Queen.


• I'm Not Okay (I Promise) - My Chemical Romance One of my favourite MCR songs and one that cannot get out of my head, unfornutately. Lovely to scream when you're alone in the house.


• Lunacy Fringe - The Used My all time favourite The Used song, and the infamous track on my iPod spelt as "Lunacy FRIDGE".


• Konstantine - Something Corporate I will never get tired of this song. I have to play it at least once a day or I go slightly nutty.


• Champagne - Sugar Cult More mellow than some of my other songs on the current playlist and catchy!


• Ohio is for Lovers - Hawthorne Heights The opening of the song rocks my socks off.

And of course there are my lovely instrumental pieces and OOGIE BOOGIE'S SONG IS LIKE SEX CRACK ON FAT LONG NOTES. <3<3<3
