We had the finals for the Sec 4 Plain English competition during assembly period today, and frankly, I'm not too pleased with the results. Well yes, the person who I rooted for had speeches which were too short, but she was overly-prententious, like the winner. Bah! You all are just biased!!! XO
The first day of school was off to a rather bad start. Much to my dismay, I found out that I didn't even have a whiff of the Lit holiday homework and now I have to rush it (trust me being the Lit rep. I'm such a failure). In addition to that, I've got a Chinese test tomorrow, of which I should be studying for right now!!!!!!!!!! x_x But not that I really care. I can pass this test since I've burned my brain on it, its just a matter of whether I want to ace it. Which I want to. :\
Cheryl introduced me to her friend (who she doesn't know how she met him!? O_O) called Harry. Immediately my mind springs to Harry Potter. XDXD He's in Raffles Institution's band, and I'm like "WHAT THE HELL?! Raffles? The freakin' genius!!!" I have a stigma against/with(<--up till now, I don't know which to use) with people smarter than me. But he's trying to sell concert tickets, so I shall forget about his intellect for the time being. :D
