we arh da comprain queen and keeng
Aug. 9th, 2005 10:43 pmComplaining. That's a Singaporean's absolute favourite thing to do.
And if they don't? Well, they complain about people complaining then!
My aunts love to complain, and when you add my mother in, all hell breaks loose. They griped about the extravagant NDP, which I do agree was a bit overboard. Afterall, we're only 40 years old. What happens when we reach a hundred years old? Is Singapore going to break the bank? Then they complained about the gahmen's 'assistance schemes' and what nots (like the NKF,again). I was too annoyed to listen (uh hello, I want to watch TV?) and only caught bits and pieces of their conversation as it shot to and fro the living room.
Post-note: WEE MIN. I SAW YOU ON TV. TOPLESS. HAHA. AND SHOOTING ARROWS. omfg. That was like the best part of the whole National Day Parade. Seeing crazy Wee Min, the Malaysian, performing in our National Day Parade. XD Oh the irony.
And apparently, our dear Melvin Loh was spotted during a Channel U interview. You liar! Haha "she me xin ku dou shi zhi de" (it was worth all the trouble) my foot! I wish I saw the interview and not have it relayed to me from MingFang. Haha. I don't know what's more hilarious, him speaking Chinese or him saying that politically correct answer!
Damnit. I just realized that I have 2 essays and an outline due on Thursday. I'll have to at least start planning tonight, because we all know History essays make me stay up way late into the night. Where's the coffee?
when you leave, i'm going to lose a part of me
