IRemind me to never ever sleep at 4am, wake up at 6am and go out for the whole day, not returning until 9:30pm.

@__@

My brain and legs are busted. A night of Brave New World essays and History graphic organizers is not my type of fun. Coffee only does so much to help ease the pain.

So I woke up 20 minutes late this morning, because my handphone surprisingly chose today of all days to not work. I still arrived at school earlier than most though (boo!!) I was just floating around during band because of the lack of sleep and did my job of giving out and collecting scores. We kinda got into the photocopying auntie's bad books I think. The whole band missed the mass dance (YES!!!) and yeah, it was cool. We made Kevin wear a skirt and take off his pants. It was like PHOAR, sexiness! He has a figure girls would kill for. After vacating the band room, we all hung around the grandstand and watched the performances together, laughing and singing. :D I love the band at these times.

We were supposed to have a band outting, but we had like, REALLY POOR ATTENDANCE. Only 7 people ended up going for lunch at Plaza Singapura, after running from SJI to RGS to catch a bus. omgggg. My legggs. LB, Vig, Angel and Xueliang actually did SJI to Far East!!! Crazy people larh! I nearly died after my distance. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the band was horrible. We couldn't get tickets and ended up walking around Carrefour (Marianne and Angel bought food!) and sitting at the Istana Park listening to music and folding paper boats (Vig, me, Amanda, Kevin and Xueliang). Haha, we basically just gossipped and stuff. I left to join my SN clique for Charlie and The Chocolate Factory after a while.

Ahhh, Willy Wonka. Many differing opinions about it I've heard, but I stand by the fact that compared to the really scary older version, Tim Burton really did a good job with it. Of course, I'd like to have nearly all the details in (like the LICKABLE WALLPAPERS!!!) but what he had, he was fantastic with. Can I mention again how much Johnny Depp is my God? He was such an utter bimbo in the movie. <3<3 The music was wonderful, not only the (rather tacky but snide) renditions of the Oompa Loompa songs. You so knew that they were mocking pop culture. DEEP ROY. YOU. ARE THE BEST OOMPA LOOMPA EVER. Haha. His face is burned in my mind, and that's not a good thing. In short, CCATCF was extremely kitschy, but rightfully so. It was deliciously funny and the subtle undertones were just right. :) Did I mention how I want to cut my hair like Willy Wonka?

Had dinner at Cartel with Lydia, Pong, Gen, Lala (and her friend), Jo and Qiu. Then we took neoprints as usual D:. I waste my money so. By the way, the phone I wanted to buy with my mum's voucher is out! YAY.

Oh well. I was kinda "eh" today about certain things, but that's just me.

did you know I missed you?

Hey there.

I was browsing random at work and caught a glimpse of the word 'Singapore' in one of your posts...

I'm a Canadian and I had visited Singapore a few years ago. It blew my mind. Best trip ever, and I still think about it.

I wish I could go back, but money is no easy thing for a University-bound student. Oh well. Maybe another time.

Anyways. Enjoy yourself on the island. From my experience it's the best place I've ever visited. (However Canada still kicks its ass as a place to live!) Take care.

:) I'm really glad and proud that you enjoyed your visit to Singapore! Maybe you can come back soon (after you graduate then? :O), you won't regret it. Thank you again for enjoying your trip!! :)

I've been to Canada too and while I can't agree with you that it's a kick-ass place to live, it sure comes close (well it only loses out because I have this thing about family being there)! Canada was LOTS of FUN, and the people there are great. The whole atmosphere there was wow... I can't describe it.

Well, I wish you all the best in you University-'career'!
