spiderpig: (i am free from all prejudices!)
[personal profile] spiderpig
I've been published, so mused a young girl, why don't I start writing more substantial posts from now on? After all, the girl thought, who actually wants to read about an apathetic girl's life all the time? The girl paused. If you actually have a miniscule ability to write, why not put it to good use?

Perhaps it's just the cynical me speaking but I can't help getting positively annoyed at some people.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO JOIN A MINISTRY, YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE. AREN'T YOU CONTRADICTING EVERYTHING YOUR RELIGION STANDS FOR?

There. I got it off my chest. Intelligent people I hope there are some in the world will probably know that I'm lashing out at certain people. Alas the intarweb is a public place (unfortuantely most people don't get that) and I can't truly post anything with real passion without digging my own six-foot grave.

Certainly, I'm a firm believer in God and in Christianity in general. Was it my upbringing in a Catholic school, or something else that touched me? Faith's a funny thing. With faith, everything can be explained. Or unexplainable. However, I'm somewhat like William Blake, I don't believe in organized religion, much. It probably has to do with my bad experiences with churches, and my twisted version of faith, but don't solicit me with hate-mail.

While my views on organized religion is rather unorthodox, my number one pet peeve is just have over-enthusiastic religious people. And that, perhaps is an understatement. Evangelists and people who preach to others without giving a damn thought about themselves or other religions, I can't stand them. I tolerate them of course, but truthfully, I abhore them.

Like the lone preacher who comes up to you on the street and proclaims loudly, "Join our church or you will go to hell, you *insert other religion*!!". I say go to hell yourself. If I can be tolerant of the way you people go around and give Christianity a bad name, why can't you be tolerant of other people's religions? Didn't the late Pope John Paul emphasize on that? Tolerance. Acceptance. Don't condemn others because they don't believe in YOUR God.

I'm probably going to have a lot of people hating me now, but I don't really care? I believe in my own way. I don't like being forced. Hell, I was even thinking of going back to church, but here comes this crazyassedannoying person who makes me go all prickly and hard. Blame it on that person. I just had to voice out my own opinion, because the friggin' hypocrite is overspilling in IRONY.

Augh. I haven't been reading comics/manga of any sort since school began. I haven't bought any new manga. What has my life degenerated to? Plus, my pasta's making squelchy sounds. And I've realized that my LJ is getting a little... fan-girly. I'm going to stop "heart"ing all over the place now, kthnx. I'll stick to NORMAL fangirling. Like "<3<3<3KAKASHI!!!". Mmm. That's normal.

I found an old SWATCH watch in my mum's drawer. Retro and all, once I replace its batteries, I'll wear it to school. I have to repair my other Casio watch too. The green one's getting mouldy. Need to wash it. :\

Ho-hum, I hope Fahy doesn't kill me for my unintelligent Brave New World essay. Speaking of which, Amazon is taking a long-assed time to deliver my books. I just placed an order, but they'll only arrive in a month's time?

I do find myself to be rather uninteresting. Maybe it's the fact that my ideas have been supressed and constrained throughout the peak of my creative period, but I can't solely blame my blandness on that. I shall see how my GP journal entries turn out. Life has taught me not to let go of any chances, to grab things by the head and throttle them.

Throttle them I shall.

Like, ignore the fact that my journal entry has no organization at all.

religion...has always been a very sensitive issue. I'm just glad I'm a freethinker. It makes things less complicated sometimes. :X
