Of books and such

I just placed my order for around US$120 worth of history books on the Cold War. After I am done with them, I will put them out on loan for my student(s).

Yes my student(s). Others will have to just wait patiently. They're bought with my hard earned 3-months pay and I don't like to shove a S$40 book at random people and not have it returned or get it back in lousy shape.

I have also placed an order for two rather helpful books on Huxley's Brave New World. Behold! I am your ever-helpful Lit rep!!. Of which I will peruse, and then proceedingly loan out/make photocopies of important passages for you. As for Blake's poems, I haven't found any rather interesting (OR cheaper HELLO SOMEONE DONATE TO THE BABA'S BOOK FUND!) books, thus no luck there. I will, once I save enough money, buy a copy of at least one guide for an added nuance in our answers.

You guys all know that I'm jeapordizing my brilliant A grade for Literature by actually SHARING these with you all, no? ;D All in good faith, my fellows, all in good faith.


EDIT: To prove that I'm really out-of-sorts today, I actually went up to P. Chua and said, "May I be so bold to ask for a deadline extension?"

To which she replied, "Yes, you may be so bold."

I don't know what came over me. The next thing you know, I'll be reciting arias from ancient Chinese operas and speaking in heroic couplets.
