spiderpig: (omg wtf?)

I've probably done one of the most stupid things in my life today. I actually brought home my bari-sax. Now, bringing it home isn't the problem. Bringing it back to school is. My class room is on the 5th floor. Think about carrying a bari-sax that's at least 25kg WITH a heavy school bag.

Yeah. That's how crazy I am.

Nevertheless! I have utmost confidence that CJC people are kind souls and will offer help. Like the clarinetists on the way out. SHH! Don't tell the guys! I'm supposed to keep up with my muscle-girl image. ;D

Actually not muscle-girl. It makes me sound like Sylvester Stallone on steroids. (HEY HEY ALLITERATION!) More like "abnormally crazy strong girl who can carry heavy things e.g baritone saxes IN cases". That'd be great. I loved the way everyone in the band room (including the conductor!) was like, "OMG, are you actually going to bring that home!?" My wonderfully beautiful silver Nike Total Magia shoes have been attracting a lot of attention too. I'm a mad soccer fan now, apparently. Which is partially true by the way. Not as mad as before, because it robs me of sleep. There was like, "OMG you are the first girl who likes soccer and is wearing a pair of soccer boots!!" etc etc. And random comments about soccer games. :\ Yep, that's me, always looking for sensationalism.

Sectionals was alright. I was late surprisingly. I hate being late for band. I hope that's the last time. Basically the tutor went over the diaphragm, tounging exercises and went through With Heart and Voice with us. I'm still retarded in many parts of the song. Sadness. And the cuts and changes Alvin made confused me even more and I'm really feeling retarded now. So many mistakes!

After that was games. I don't like games at all but I guess I had fun this one time? Especially with the shoe-game and the no-rules-captain-ball game. Hoho. Running madly around and getting spun around while trying to hold on to a shoe. Priceless. I love band so much that it's just fucking weird. But afterall, since it's going to be my only CCA, I shall have to and must love it. I'm praying really hard that not too many people leave the band because everyone's really nice :( AND I HAVEN'T LIKE MET YOU ALL PROPERLY. :\ Damnit! No 3 months! See what it has done to me.

Lunch was boring. That said, it does not count me passing Charles his chicken rice and having the packet of chilli sauce roll off the styrofoam box and SMACK! SPLATTER! onto the floor. Meh.

Combined band practice was strenuous on my back and I thank the world for the bari sax stand that was produced magically out of thin air. Of course my section is now greviously envious of me. ;D Hoho, bari sax stand. I give my love to you! I messed up a lot during combined and probably the conductor wants to kick my sorry ass. :(

The only downside to today is my busted left arm, which is in serious pain whenever I play the bari; my strained neck and back muscles and the neck-strap marks embedded in my neck. Ouch. Majorly. I need like, a proper neck-strap PRONTO.

On another note, I'm not going for Editorial anymore. It clashes with band and um. Yeah. It clashes with band. Darn, what a lousy reason not to go. D: Oh well. I am now the most loyal J1! MUAHAHA.

Harhar, y'know I saw Louis in the canteen on Thursday, 'slike I walked past him with XiaoLee and went, "Hey Louis!" and he responded with a "Yo yo yo!!" which almost made me burst out laughing because it was just so lame. XiaoLee and I were walking so slow that I actually had to bemoan her to walk faster to lessen my embarrassment. Heh.

The first Lit tutorial with Fahy was, rather shocking in a sense. I mean, he makes me jump whenever he raises his voice. I think people are highly amused whenever I start suddenly in the lecture theatres. Embarrassment again. I'm fighting for the post of Literature rep (SHH! Don't tell any of the Arts students!) and I feel that I deserve it because hell, I've been doing all the lit stuff for the class. :\ I'm just happy that I've got the support of most of the class.

I didn't see my eye-candy yesterday, which was a little sad. :(

Anyway, say bye-bye to my beautifully coloured hair. It's going back to black/dark-brown tomorrow. Ah, I feel a sense of immense sadness.

Mmm. I have GP tutorials, History tutorials and revisions for History and Econs to do. :\ I hate my life sometimes. It's just studying and studying. HRM! I seem to be some kind of person-sourcing genius. In a matter of clicks, I've found all the friendster accounts of the CJC Band people. :) I shall go on some adding spree.
