Okay whatever.
Today was the first day of school for me. As a junior. And it was like "EH".
We registered for classes and had orientation.
I hate orientation ANYWHERE and ANYTIME.
So. The whole atmosphere was "eh".
I will divulge more details later when I wake up from my nap. Oh snap, why don't I have more friends.
UPDATE AT 2142hours:
Mmm. Sleep is good.
Well, like I said earlier, today is my first day as a junior (in high school that is) in CJC. Catholic Junior College. It's an okay place really. As the name states, it's a really Catholic-ish school and most people are from mission schools and convents. I've settled in rather fine, been making a few friends, talking to some other people.
It helps that my Index Group (IG) has rather "okay" people. I mean, everyone's rather nice and not like "eh, I want to punch your lights out". The group leaders are fun too. One of them's like, an airhead. In a good way I mean. She's extremely
I've never like Orientations of any kind so I don't ever think I'll really enjoy myself. I just want to start studying damnit! We had a course talk after some icebreakers (where I helped score some points for my groups!!), and we danced. Yes. Danced.
Now, this person doesn't like dancing. And the CJC mass dance makes my secondary school dances so much more desirable, which is saying something. We had to learn this bangra/bangla dance and it was fast-paced and basically a suicidal mission for a person with two left feet. Like me. So I basically faked my way through the whole thing. My dance partner was like "EH."
Surprisingly I had this reunion sorta-thing with my primary school classmate, which is EXTREMELY relieving because all of them were extremely friendly and helpful people. Based on my memory, of course. One of them, actually GLOMPED me while screaming, "OH MY GOOSSSHHH!!! ALICIA! ALICIA! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!!!" Which made me go "o___o eehhhhh!??!" I'll probably have some of them as classmates again! Yay!
There are lotsa ex-secondary school classmates and schoolmates here, though most of them want to transfer out? I don't know. My secondary 4 classmates are in abundance. However, two schoolmates really made my day dreary. It was like "......twitch twitch" with them. They obviously didn't get into the school of their choices and started BITCHING EVERY SINGLE MOMENT. I mean, I'm not exactly "whoopdeedoo" about being here but please don't spoil it for me? Bleh. Others like 'Toots are contented with staying here although she really wants to go to AJC. I'm being like really mean, but YOU ALL SHOULD STAY AND KEEP ME COMPANY.
So these are the subject combinations I computed in:
1st choice: Lit, Hist, Econ
2nd choice: Lit, Geog, Econs
3rd choice: Maths, Lit, Econs
Appealing for: Lit, Hist, Econs, Art
2nd appeal: Lit, Hist, Econs,
3rd: OMFG I FORGOT. But it's like, either one of the last two from the above.
My combinations make everyone go "o___o|||". History at A Level require 6 essays damnit. :\ I'm going to develop carpal tunnel for sure.
According to loveable Yen, who's staying in CJ (w3wt!), CJC is going to Sentosa for one of the orientation days and there's dragonboating. <3<3<3 Coincidentally, we have the longest orientation period of 5 days. Every other school finishes by three days. :\ I want classes. Now.
I really miss my secondary school. Nothing can ever be the same. I might have suffered during the course of four years, but I will never regret my choice. I have learnt that I can push myself to the limits, and that hardwork always pays off.
St Nicks has paved the road for me to be a scholarly! NERDY! person! XD
Sleep.
School.

For curiosity sake, which IG are you from? If you don't want to tell, that's fine. Hope you get your appeals!
