Crap. For some reason unknown to me, my hair refuses to go back to it's "OH HEY KAZUMA POSSESSED MY HAIR" state. I don't want to use gel or any evil muck on my hair because I want natural Kazuma-ness! ;__; Why are you doing this to me, hair? The freakin' cosplay is tomorrow. And there's the coooonnncceerrrrtttttt. I don't know why but suddenly everyday is so packed for me? With medical training, running around the estate, shopping trips and what not. When did I become so... so sought after. XD
'slike real-life friends who wish to include me in your plans during the holidays, please notify me of them by Sunday 10pm so I can allocate my time to you. Gosh, that sounded like I was some hot-shot. Ah, if only I was some bishounen.
I'm still stuck on the pages of the textbook where they're explaining all the usage of particles and stuff. It should be easy enough, but for some reason nothing is getting into my head.Maybe it's because I'm typing this journal entry instead. I still need to cram in all the vocabulary we've supposed to have learnt. My mum just slammed down a "85% or die!" expectation on me and yeah. :\ I get so many death threats nowadays. SIgh. But I guess I should do alright. I mean, even though nearly blindly studying random fangirl Japanese for four years, it should give me an edge. Hell, I can read RAW manga and watch RAW anime now. (But it doesn't mean that I actually 100% understand them. It's like. 40-60%. Like Xenosaga? I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL.) And my pronounciation is I think the best? Okay. Nevermind. Back to studying now.
SO! Basically I've got to remember that adding a は after a particle (e.g には) negates the sentence somewhat. Okay. Got it.
In other news, the Sentosa monorail system has been sold for S$350,000 (it cost $16 million to develop and build) and there are plans to just scrap it. This is a sad day as even though the monorail is nearly prehistoric in the world of air-conditioned, light-speed transportation systems, it is a vital part of Sentosa history. At least in my eyes. I remember being really excited while waiting in the albeit hot and humid lines, watching for the carriages to come whizzing to a stop. (Okay, not whizzing, but you get what I mean.) Then I'd clamber inside with my family or friends and we'd be staring out through the windows at the people six metres below us. Primitive I know, but it was really fun.
Like. Why is my Agatsuma disc behaving weirdly?
Oh hey. Vote for Directions of Destiny at Onlinecomics.net. Why? Because it's original, it has got substance, AND THE ART IS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!111oneoneone. And while you're at it, vote for Inverloch and No Rest for the Wicked. Why? Becauseit's woaaaah better than DoD it makes Soshi a happy little pig. Well no, but because seriously. You guys should be people with BRAINS and with COMMON SENSE and you guys should be able to tell great comics from. bad ones. And by great I mean OVERALL. Not just "ooooooooooooooooooo(x10000)h, the art is pretty but the storyline is MEH."
I'm rambling here.
Is it me, or has most of my favourite 漫画家 been eating major fandom crack lately? ESPECIALLY ARAKAWA-SENSEI. OMFG. The latest chapter makes me go "Squeee! DORKS!!! <3" with the exception from the last few pages which make me go, "O_O OMFG WHAT'S THIS?!?!". Don't get me started on Kubo-sensei and his mind-blowing conspiracy. @__@
My dad came home from work on Wednesday and was all "HEY THIS ISN'T SWINGING :(", referring to a Chibi Gallery solar powered swinging cat thing. Immediately I asked him, "Did you go to Sunshine Plaza again?" And he said yes. GOSH my dad is so weird (a good-weird). He went to Comics Portal last week and told the shop owners, "I used to collect all these things." (WHICH I DOUBT SO. I haven't seen ANYTHING like that in the house belonging to HIM.) The shop owners were all "o___o REALLY!" and then he further scared them by saying, "Yeah, but my daughter has taken over the hobby now." XDXD
And yesterday I did one of the craziest thing I could have ever done. I actually ran for a bus. Given that the next bus would take 15 minutes to arrive and I just missed it at the Interchange, I ran all the way from the Interchange to the next stop which was around what, 300-400m away (maybe it wasn't that long, but yeah) and just SPRINTED all the way. OMFG. I AM NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN. I was so out-of-breath and just like dying after reaching the destination. x__x
Yeah. So that concludes my rather uneventful past few days.
