This Chinese New Year, I found out that I am popular with some kids.

Y'see those littler munchkins usually have two reactions when I'm around or try to socialize with them. They either act all indifferent and ignore me, or they run away.

Thus, you can imagine my greatest surprise when I was suddenly bombarded with pleas for me to play with them, when I met my dad's friend's kids. Little girls, no less.

(Words in Chinese are translated in italics)
Girl 1: Big sister, can you pwwwwweeeeeeaaaassse play with us?
Girl 2: Yes! Can you come to our room and play with us?
Me: ...Er... Later? I'm going home soon?

*One Hour Later*
Girl 1: Can you play with us??? You said you were going home! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?
Girl 2: YEAH. PLAY WITH US. PWWWEAASSE.

*shudders* I don't like little kids, and neither do I want to play with them. I'd probably just eat their tiny organs for breakfast. Luckily, they gave up asking me and carvorting around under the glass table and tried to make me play with them. Evil little devils.

I need a new school/laptop bag. I'm rocketing between the popular Crumpler backpacks (because too many people have the messenger bags?), or the almost extremely customizable Timbuk2 bags. I like the Timbuk2 bags a lot. Mmmm. It needs to fit my (currently non-existent) laptop, which will probably be either a 15 or 17 inch Apple one... or a Sony VAIO.... or... *kicks self*, my sleek FMA organizer, manga (lots of them), the ability to stuff a few Pinky:St figures inside... Timbuk2s seem to be the better choice.

There was no Japanese class today, because Yoshioka-sensei went back to Japan for the Lunar New Year. Lucky bastard. >O I want to go too. I need to ask her if she knows how to speak Kansai-ben, though I doubt she can? She was born in Osaka but grew up in Tokyo. I still haven't completed my homework though. I didn't get a perfect for last week's worksheet. I am fuming mad at myself.

EDIT: o_o My dad just expressed his dream of managing an anime shop when he retires, where he will just sit at the counter and act like a stool-potato. o__O|||
