Pardon. That title is a little 'off' today.

The World of Ba.

Seriously, seeing that slogan being carvoted around the Ngee Ann Poly campus just made my day. The World of BA. Can you believe that? At first, I thought it was some secret tribute to me. ;p Alas, BA stands for Business (and) Accountancy. Boo! The World of Ba, where BA represents me, sounds much better. Wouldn't you all want to come to my school?

COME OR I WILL GROPE YOU TO NO END. :D

Sim (Cheryl) relegated to me how horrible strenuous 3.9km run the NJC has for PE.
To which I express my extreme dislike for running or any part thereof, and that I am sacrificing my life inability to run even 2.4km without nearly dying, just for TSD.
I said to Cheryl, "I hope the TSD (theatre studies) deity will smile down upon me and say, "What a sacrificing girl she is!!"
And she found it funny. I find it curiously funny how so many people find what I say to be funny even though I never intended it to be. Like, how my trademark, "by the time I can marry him, he'd be dead" strain of 'jokes' seems to make the same people laugh over and over again?

I'm not complaining of course.

Yes, regarding the 'oh-so-noble' sacrificing and dying and stuff. I have refined my plan for tertiary (oh dear, is that spelt correctly? *SPELLCHECKER*) education, which makes my dad a little "ehhhh" about it. :\ Basically, I am only going to a JC just for TSD. If I don't make it there, I will just defect to Ngee Ann Polytechnic (which I assume many people will go "ehhhhhH!H?!?!?!" right now). WHAT THE HECK. I don't really give a damn about others. I already chose the other path when I skipped three months of school.

My dad's all, "Theatre studies or mass comm? WHAT DEGREE DO YOU WANT?!!! Polictical science is not really in that line is it?" in the tone that says, 'what's wrong with you!?' Speak for yourself, Chemistry major who ended up being a banker, who is currently working in the fish industry. BIG FACEFAULT. Suddenly he's all cynical and isn't enthusiastic about me getting a Bachelor's Degree. Whaaatt?!?

So yesterday (seeing that today is Sunday) I went to two polytechnics' open houses to have a look-see with Pong. Namely Nanyang and Ngee Ann. The bottom line is that Nanyang is dreary and boring, and totally not suited for me. Students in NYP, please excuse my biased opinion. But frankly, your mass-comm course, or rather, the imitation of it really isn't up to my standard. The school doesn't place enough emphasis on it. For instance, it's chucked into the School of Business. Like huh!? Well, the atmophere the whole poly gives me isn't good. Thank God I went to Ngee Ann.

Simply put, I was blown away. Like atomic bomb "BOOOMMM KRASHHHH KAZZAJK:LDF!!!" type of blown away. Sure it's far and my butt will turn into a big cellulite ball if I go there, but their facilities are fucking awesome. The School of Film and Media Studies is like... woaaaahhh... Everyone just loves what they are doing. You can tell from the way they come up to you, talk to you and are so in-your-face. They really really really love their courses. AND THEY HAVE MAC G5 CPUs~~~~ <3 Squueee! Can you hear me squee? And good sound stages, TV stages, editting rooms, INTERNSHIPS WHICH INCLUDE SPH. Aw man. They pwn me. Though, the guys there are strangely... feminine. But I shan't go into that. I mean, haha. >__> FIVE-STOREY LIBRARY! I only went to one floor, though. Shrug.

Their band is well, okay? NYP's had two people sitting there with a =_= look on their faces and were really... throwing me off. HOWEVER, despite how much the band-guy freaked me out, NgeeAnn's displayed their instruments OMFGWTFBBQ SELMER SAXOPHONE, had this powerpoint/video/presentation thingy going on and of course had the scary band-guy trying to rope people in. Now normally I'd be irritated and annoyed by the over-enthusiasm of schools, but today NAP's enthusiasm was just infectious. I never knew that I could be so... like that. Then again, I was all gung-ho about pulling in Sec Ones this year when I went back to my alma mater. O_o I want to join kendo.

God, this is sounding like a whole promotion campaign for NAP. And I'm not even studying there. WTF?

Jap. class today was interesting, much more so than last week. AND I GOT TO DO PAIRWORK WITH THE CUTE UNI GUY. HAHA. HAHA. Yes, cue the squee-ing from me. I like eye-candy in class. Yes I do. Sensei asked him if he had a part-time job, and he said that he tutors in Math and Chinese (...weird combi). Wow. You can come to my house and teach me my most two disliked subjects anytime! ;D But cute uni guy aside, the conclusion I've made so far is that guys sound horrible speaking Japanese. Or rather, the guys in my class. >__>()()() I've been forgetful and careless like missing out phrases when doing oral practice. Like, I'm supposed to say, "はい*insert place* にわいきません。” and I'd just go, "はい。いきません。”Which techincally is correct, however sensei likes perfection. XD()() And adding random "ka?" into sentences. Geeh. I'm screwing up. Though, not as much as the rest. XD I guess my class is okay. NO NOT BECAUSE OF THE CUTE UNI GUY. D: He's just. Like that. Shrug.

PLUG: Kids, do you want to redirect your destiny? I feel like the promoter for SIngaporeans..

THIS CALLS FOR FANART FROM SOSHI. *plugs in tablet*
