On a more "meh" note, I need to think of lecturers/tutors who can write my 2 letters of recommendation.

....I cannot think of anyone who would remember me. Maybe Dr. Ang. Yes. I'll like BE THICK-SKINNED AND ASK HER? O: Maybe not? Um. Dr Yeoh is out because he's never personally tutored me. Er..... KAM THIAM HUAT? But I think he hates me because I don't show up for every tutorial and I'm quiet?! EHHHHHH. WHO CAN I ASK.

Okay. I've calmed down. In any case, NUS has given the A-OK for applying to Waseda, it's just up to Waseda (oh generous, lovely university!) to accept me after I complete the applications and stuff.

Man, there's a lot of paperwork to be done. :\

congrats! although....i'm not sure how the NUS SEP process works, but isn't this just the first round of MAAAAANY processes you have to go through?

cos at royal holloway we have to apply, and then go through an interview, and only then will the uni nominate us to waseda/keio/assorted jap unis you're applying for. and then it's up to the jap unis whether they want us or not :'(

Exactly! I have no idea what's going on (other than the fact that Waseda is on the list) and why the hell there are 21 other universities (!?!??!) on the list. But I think at the very least, I've gotten past the nasty NUS people? I just hope Waseda doesn't think that I'm some creepy fangirl and reject my eventual application. D:

hey hey, zhixin here.. congrats for waseda being on the list,but..why do you have soooo many unis on your list?? how many unis could you choose?

Guess mine will come much later.. they prob give the usp students to choose first :( hehe, the only email i got regarding sep is to write a letter saying that i will do honours/ not graduate once i come back :(
