WHAT A WASTE!
Aug. 14th, 2007 03:05 pmI was talking to Doughboy the other day about how it'd have been even more awesome if people like him went with me on my Japan trip for the sole fact that we'd hit Akiba and Ikebukuro in the morning rather than at night. (He's mainly a Gunpla otaku. And like, a late 90s anime fan.) Plus, people like him means dragging him to some random temple or historical place poses as no problem at all.
DARN.
Well, there's always next time. I need otaku travelling partners. Seriously.
In OTHER news, my first Indian Civilisations class went fine and dandy. It's like History paper 3 enrichment on major overdrive. I have a group project due in two weeks. And like a 18 page research project is supposed to pop out from my head at the end of 13 weeks. WTF HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO.
So it was quite funny. We were all introducing ourselves and we had to say why we chose this module instead of others. For most people, it was the praticality of it being counted as an Exposure module. BUT! When it got to my turn, I said "I chose this course because well, we get to go to the temples and EAT FOOD IN LITTLE INDIA" and woah sound of applause. People like food. I like food. :D
Right now I'm teetering over to just abandoning Lit (egads no!) and focusing fully on Japanese Studies. But y'knowwwwwwwww. I like putting a lot of eggs in the basket so until the DDP gets all confirmed and such, I will take 4.5 years to graduate.
D:
I'll be OLD by then.
EDIT:
It's A Wonderful World was flown in from Japan courtesy of my brother's lovely half-Japanese friend. Currently charging up the DSlite so I can get some crazy combo-action going on. It's times like these when I wish that I was uberly rich, or just able to live on air, so I could splurge and get the SubaShikiSekai limited edition NDS. lulz.
EDIT:
<3 for Lucky Star 19. I am a Lucky Star addict. Konata makes me want to write fics.
