HAHA.BARITONE.
Sep. 17th, 2005 06:34 pmHAHAHA.
I had 2 calls from Sir today.
The first one was a sabo-call from Marc about library stuff. I'm overexaggerating here about the degree of 'sabo' but it was there. HEH. So I threw the call back to Marc which he took very amiably. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY BUTT.
The second one was like, "Alicia you brought home your baritone?"
Me: Uh...yah?
Sir: *you can hear the shock* O-oh, okay. So you're going to play the baritone for Thailand?
Me: I think so? Is there anything else I can play?
Sir: Uhmm... Is there anything you want to play?
Me: *thinking: HAHA ALTO. NO CHANCE. SOPRANO. NOCHANCE. TENOR> NOCHANCE. OTHER INSTRUMENTS WTH?* Uh... no lah.
Sir: Okay. Then I want you to practice your over-tones! I want to hear overtones for the lowerwinds.
Me: Okay no problem!
HAHA. THE LOGISTICAL PROBLEM OF BRINGING A BARITONE ALONG.
;__; And I need to practice my overtones. WHICH I GET ONLY 50% OF THE TIME. Actually no lah. I probably get it more than I think, but I can't hear them. I'm not tone-deaf but I'm insensitive like that.
I mean, come on lah Sir. If I actually asked if I could play letsay percussion or horn or trombone or clarinet or BASSOON (AHHAHA) for Thailand, would you actually let me? You didn't even let Marc go to Horn or Melvin to Trombone lah.True they didn't master it in time BUT IGNORE THAT.
In other news, I have graduated from photobucket to imagestation to now, Flickr. I've been meaning to jump on the bandwagon for ages but never have. This means photowhoring! After the promos of course.
