mmm. cheese ramen.
Nov. 27th, 2005 06:27 pmきゃあ~ There's an extremely hot young guy at Meidi-ya~!! ちょうかわいい、かっこいい、いい男ですよ!And wtf, his English was good~ <3 My mum was saying how his eyes were very nice and asked me to ask for his number. Crazy mum.
Lunch was especially good today, being the once-a-year big Japanese food fest I get from my parents. We headed off to Liang Court's Meidi-ya to splurge on Japanese goods and mmmm Ramen at Tampopo Ramen. <3 I had the Cheese ramen (with cambert cheese~~). The rest had the Negi ramen, Hokkaido Miso ramen and Salmon ramen. <3 とても美味しいです。And of course as a tradition, we ordered katsu. I was afraid of spending too much and asked for hire katsu instead of the more expensive loin. But oh man, the katsu was extremely good. The texture was so smooth and it virtually melted in my mouth. <3 That's what good katsu should taste like. My Cheese Ramen was good too. The cheese taste wasn't too overpowering and sat well with the beef, onions and red dates! Oh and the noodles were delightfully springy.
At the supermarket we bought things that we haven't bought in a long long time. Like the 桃の天然水drink that we first drank in 1999 and have this family-obsession with, and mmm real crab-sticks. <3 My mum was ooh-ing and ah-ing over the expensive fish (wtf $30) and I was saying how I'd go and buy the $48 tuna belly for them to eat when I officially get my first paycheck. XDXD What else did we buy... Sapporo Grand Hotel's pumpkin soup! 西山つけ面と小麦面was bought after a taste-test and lengthy explainations in Engrish to my dad about how to cook it. They were extremely happy when I said, 美味しいです" and were all like "sankyuu sankyuu". X3
omfg and the 蟹弁当store had the aforementioned most hot guy I've seen so far. It was so embarrassing. X3 wtf the bentou cost my dad a hefty $30 but it was mmm fresh crab goodness. I love it when we spend money on food. XD
Ah. Stomach's calling for the bentou.
