on a sunny wednesday
Jul. 28th, 2005 12:04 amI should start a rental service :p My lovely Adidas jacket (my husband!!!) was worn by two other people today namely Ming Fang and Imran. HAHA HOW FUNNY. BOTH QMs BORROWED MY JACKET. :\ Nyargh.
My back is strained from probably slouching too much when I play the baritone. SEE KIDS, GOOD POSTURE IS IMPORTANT. Or you'll end up like me. That reminds me. I think I remember Michelle or Gloria telling me something along the lines of, "Stop carrying such heavy school bags or you'll have no husband." o___O To which I replied, "Aiya. That Disney guy... Qua... Quai... Quasimodo managed to get a girl right? I WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM."
What the hell was I thinking?! But oh well. That's not the point. School was a drag as usual. My History essay was rejected, but not really rejected because it wasn't that bad. I think that silver lining is coming out! I just need to tweak some areas. Hear that? Some. I'm improving! It used to be the WHOLE ESSAY that had a problem. :x Y-yeah. Anyway, spent most of PW talking about the kamasutra with my group. No, don't give me that look. I didn't start the conversation.
You guys all know what I'm going to say about band. So I'm not going to even try. :p Though, my interview with Sir, Charles and Anne was so screwed up. Stupid Liang Bao and Melvin Loh kept on barging (okay, not barging) in to clarify stuff about the investiture. Dragged out my whole interview and made people run in and out of the room. BAH. The questions were kinda puzzling but I answered them the best I could. I think I screwed up a bit on my part, but it went well overall? I hope so. :x Had some nice, reassuring comments passed. So I can rest in peace. Sectionals was fun because we practiced the soli-performance. Woohoo solos for the tenor! Go Clare! Combined was mainly with the J1s for the most part and we practiced Concerto D'Amore. SQUEE. Kevin conducted us at first, then Ian took over. Hahahahahahaha. It was an interesting (but fun!!!) experience! The bass/baritone line is rather nice. Nice fast beats. Hoho. The J2s came in after their Econs mock and then we were made to play MARCHES. SOUSA MARCHES. I thought I could escape from them once I left SNSB. :( Alas. It went rather alright, considering I'm a dunce at marches. Another "omfgnoooo!" note is that I need to conduct a portion of Liberty Bell. Like RARRR.
Uuhgggh. I'm going to sleep now because I need to wake up at around 6am. I will go down and jog 9 rounds for the sake of myself and Mr Issac Lim. So that he won't get a coronary from hunting me down. Not that he will, that fitbastard teacher!!
