lies a body, oozing white
Jul. 4th, 2005 09:47 pmI still haven't started on my essay even though I have around two days, or less than that, to complete it. Haha. Go me. But everyone knows I write better under a certain amount of pressure. So, oh well. I still should get started NOW though, not at 11pm as I planned. Woo boy.
There's this asinine, random National Education paper popping out of nowhere tomorrow. Now you see kids, if I was going back for the maths paper, I wouldn't mind doing it. After all, what's another 40 mins in addition to the hours of horrible math before? But nooo, I don't have the math paper to take and have to specially travel down to school to sit in a possibly stuffy classroom answering inane questions about our Prime Minister being so and so. SPARE ME. Inot the typical apathetic youth of Singapore and I don't want to waste my time 2/3s of an hour in school. Sure I wouldn't be doing anything constructive other than possibly writing my essay, but no. I don't like the idea of having an NE exam.
then again I'll be able to see certain people so it's all dandy
Band resumes again on Wednesday and I can't wait to go back! PROVIDED MY BARI IS FIXED. Pray tell. The only gripe I have is the fact that it's from 4pm to 8pm. I'm definitely going in earlier because I know that I'll have absolutely nothing to do for 2 hours. But the 8pm part's a little sticky. Y'see I have a concert at 7:30pm. So I requested permission to leave earlier and of course they allowed me to. I mean, it's a band concert. I'm not flying off to some weird pub. O_o
Speaking of pubs, XiaoLee invited me to go to one of my ex-classmate's club-party-thingys. Uh, I don't think I'd want to pay money to get in and then pay even more money to get intoxicated and all knocked up. Besides, I can spend half the cash and STILL not get drunk. I am not a fan of crowded spaces with loud music, no matter how good the music is. And unless looking like a distressed hippo equates to dancing, I've got three left feet. One more to make it more awkward. Not that sort of third foot you dirty fools!
ifyouinvitedmei'dgo
Anyway, I spent the day sadly, playing Tekken Tag and sleeping and yeah. I'll be watching Desperate Housewives later. That's about it. The joys of slackdom. :D It's sort of drab though.
Yetch.
