I've got another part time job. It's on every Saturday at my uncle's clinic. $7 an hour from 5pm to I think around 9pm. The good thing about it is that no matter where I go (polytech or JC), I'll still get to work. <3 But this probably means that I can't work at Underwater World because they need people that can be ready to work on weekends. Hmm. Oh well.
My JAE choice is more or less confirmed and it goes in this order:
VJC (Arts)
ACJC (Arts)
Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Mass Comm)
CJC (Arts)
I wished I could've put Hwa Chong up there somehow. :O Their humanities program is just the best. Too bad I screwed up. *bitter*
I need to gather all my documents needed for the appeal into VJC, as it's obvious with my marks that I can't get in like this. I can only pray that my appeal will go through. Though it probably won't be through band, because there are only 10 places available and more than 26 people are applying. Talk about tough. >_< Maybe I can blow them away with my l33t writing skillz. 9_9
I watched Howl's Moving Castle ハウルの動き城 by Hayao Miyazaki. Conclusion after the movie? Joe Hisaishi is a genius (and an annoying one) for locking the main theme of the Merry-Go-Round of Life into my head 24/7. It's a lovely theme and I want to learn how to play it on the piano. Second conclusion is that HOWL IS REALLY COOL. I like his character a lot. Probably because it's a lot like mine. I had conflicts so I avoid them as much as possible and I'm just really a jerk. KimuTaku's voice-acting suits Howl very well. The art is breath taking, especially during all the big shots of the mountains and flower fields. Gosh. I'd like to work in Studio Ghilbi. XD The animation is really detailed and fluid. From the movement of the gears in the moving castle to the ripples in the clothes made by the wind. The movie is hilarious too. <3 I'm going to buy the DVD and watch it again and again and again.
I want to marry Howl. XD ラブラブfor him. HUZZAH!
Japanese class on Sunday was another good one. Eh. JK kept on looking at me when he was at a loss for words. YES JK. I KNOW YOU CANNOT READ HIRAGANA BUT DON'T LOOK AT ME. IDON'T WANT TO BE HOPEFUL BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BLOODY GIRLFRIEND! XD
Yoshioka sensei asked me about my pets and I told her that I had a tortoise. I didn't exactly say かめ, because I forgot if it was かめorかみ so I just wrote the kanji and she understood perfectly. It was like the other time when she was talking about 和食 and I wrote out the kanji for her. I am like the Kanji King. XD And she got so excited about tortoises that she told the whole class about tortoises. Ha ha!! And she wished me luck for my O Level results, which eh, didn't do much help. But I'm just really glad that she's nice and all.
We watched this NHK video on learning Japanese (あるandありますか?) and it was like this 80s video. 6_6 Super psychedelic and lame. I was cringing throughout the whole show. But it was entertaining in a way.
Mmm. Listening to the soundtrack of HMC is nice. <3
