Breaking my back just to know your name
Jan. 2nd, 2005 08:54 pmI like Re-ment stuff. (Strange how I call everything "stuff". It should be collectibles or something...) Though, so far I only have two sets. My family has this thing against buying "things that have no use", whenever I want to. :\ So this hinders my collection of various anime figures (like the Naruto ones. But I have no money now!!! D:), re-ment figures and PINKY ST. figures. Yeah, you heard me right! I like them!! I have a right to! Because I am a girl! It's just that it's not on my priority list. I want to buy a couple of EVA and Gundam figures too. I like to collect orgels too! Or I should say, I'd like to collect orgels. I'm currently eyeing the Totoro ones they've got at Animaxis. :O Darn. Why do I want to start one of the most money-eating hobbies in the world... *grumblemoanmumble* Next month's salary is GONE. I need to give money to my grandma, and my parents as the typical Chinese filal piety move.
My mum was re-packing the cupboard which stored all our old and un-used bags, and found something which utterly delighted me. It was the CardCaptor Sakura water-bottle holder which I thought was gone to me forever! Even though it looks brand new, it's around 5 years old? I don't know. When did CCS first come out?
ChannelNewsAsia has been doing report after report after report on the fatal tsunami which hit the shores of various countries around the world. I say around the world because the Maldives and some parts of Africa were hit, though not as badly as Asia. It may sound callous of me to say this but I do wish I could have seen the event with my own eyes, since I love the ocean a lot. Then again, I shouldn't be saying this because many people lost their lives trying to catch a glimpse and fathom "what the fuck is wrong with the sea?" My parents, especially my mum, suddenly has this morbid fascination with the whole catastrophe and is trying to watch every single show, read every single article about it.
And there's the rather "nyergh" jokes about Sri Lankan crabs, which are extremely sought after in Singapore because of their high amounts of tender flesh. Mmm. Now we all know why they get so fat. Not a pleasant thought.
Almost everyone I know, with exception of lovable Muthu, is going to start school tomorrow. HAHA. I'M NOT. >___> Ohhhhh weeellll. I guess waiting 2 months is alright. I still haven't registered for my Japanese class. If I haven't by the end of the week, please whack me senseless.
