Sep. 12th, 2005 06:09 pmIf I do blasphemously forget, Happy Birthday to
phyll one day in advance!
I ended up sleeping at 3am last night/morning because a normal 2hour essay took me more than 3 hours to complete because I was procrastinating. Worst off, it's one of the lousiest essays I've ever done for Fahy. Hopefully it's good enough to wrangle at least a 32. It's definitely not A quality.
Cheryl Lee left me eating my lunch alone today! D: It's sad to drink bad-tasting coffee and a bowl of noodles BY YOURSELF. How depressing.
Good news. I've finished the horrigible SEAn mindmap, with Desmond's help. Yay! I'm just left with Elizabeth Tollet's Winter Song, which makes my lazy brain hurt. I've also realized that I'm not THAT behind in my revision. I'm just left with Globalization (mainly the Middle East and the Cuban Missle Crisis) for International History, Social for SEA History (after revising through my Economic theme today), and left with half of Production and Cost, Market Structures and a bit of reading on the Labour Market and Market Failure. All in all, I've covered about half the syllabi I need. w00tage. About Literature... It's a constant thing. I have to re-read my texts and make sure I hit at least 3 times with all of them (BNW's thus done, 4 or 5 times) and omfg annotate them. I've been talking about it for ages but it's barely done.
I stayed back today to finish the mindmap with Des, and talked a lot of crap with Marianne, Angel, Ah Seng, Kevin, Amanda and MUTHUSAMY. <3<3<3 Haha. We need to get a tree to dance around, Muthusamy. Kevin's nuts lah. He makes me stressed about the Cold Wareven though uh, I've studied? because he's so on about the whole thing. Like stressing about how he's left with 14 pages of the Middle East to cover. Yes, thank you very much for adding on to the pressure. He's such a smartass. I've got a smart VP and P. DIE LAH. What's this. Aiya, I think I'll lower my expectation of a ABC grade to BCD lah. I mean, I've studied correctly, I can retain the information and make connections now but I'm afraid that I'll forget them two weeks from now. HAHA. Oh well, better than nothing.
Stupid lah. I got back my Econs essay today. The Labour Market one where I slept for like, more than half the given time? I got an AO pass. HAHA. Can you imagine what I'd get if I didn't sleep? I'd probably get a D or C. What's this man, what's this. I've got to take Economics more seriously and stop falling asleep during tests. Afterall, I'm in Mr Tan's good books, doesn't hurt to give him a reason to let me do well right?
Exams are drawing nearer and I shall devote myself to studies. YAH I AM A NERD LARH. Today I walked around teh school with my huge-assed History file and a calculator. Uhm, stereotypical science nerd anyone? No time for daydreaming, doodling and writing HILARY DUFF LYRICS in my essays now. It's (even more!) serious studying.
Shit. I'm dead tired. I have to get up at around 5:30am tomorrow to catch a bus to school. Stupid feeder service always takes longer than it should. Alright, I'm going to refresh my mind on the Korean War (which makes me spell it as "Kold War").
