I love today.

Have I mentioned how much I just LOVE TODAY?

Racial Harmony Day has never ever been so fun and retarded for me. I can't help it though, being dressed up as a really weird mix of Jesus-Indian-Sikh-Arabian man. And this is the first Racial Harmony Day where my emotions flopped from sad to happy to omfgmyheartwantstojuststopnow-deliriously happy and back to sad melancholy.

Got to school early, around 7am decked out in my sarong and horrible blue shirt. I looked like a bonafide construction-site worker. x_x I didn't get any comments until I reached the 5th floor and Anisha saw me, immediately bursting out into laughter. don't get me wrong, I did look extremely funny. Plus, like everyone said, it took a lot of guts to go traipsing around the school in a turban, beard and moustache. Augh. I'm glad to say that for once, my class was rather united and the majority of us wore ethnic costumes. :D Like PHOOOAR. The girls looked really hot.

Yes, I walked barefoot around the school to add effect. I swear people will forever remember me as the Turban-Crossdresser from now on, if they recognize me without my facial hair. Ugh. I still feel the double-sided tape on me. The Racial Harmony presentation was interesting, centering around Malay and Indian traditional weddings. Mmm. I love the symbolic meanings behind each and every apparatus, design, everything.

Lessons were a bore. Seriously. Economics was fun, and so was Lit (probably because PChua was missing in action and the relief teacher got the schedule mixed up). But oh man, History just really went down the drain. To cut a long story short, SChua gave my class a huge 'scolding'. Great way to make the day worse, kthx. To make me even more pissed off than I already was, she said to me, "I'll choose someone to answer. You there. Are you a girl or a boy? So, why didn't your class hand up the proposals?"

LIKEWTFOMGBBQ. KTHX FOR NOT NOTICING SOMETHING THAT I HAVE CALLED BOOBS AND A HIGHER VOICE TONE. Sure my voice is naturally deeper than normal girls but I don't sound like a huffy man. Normally I'd be elated if someone said that I looked like a guy, but this time I was plain incensed. So I replied contritely, "I'm a guy." My class loved it. Ugh. I still feel irritated.

During my economics remedial class outside the staffroom, I think I made every single teacher who walked past laugh and just hyperventilate. I love me. <3 Some even stopped to feel my beard. That, I admit was freaky.

Spent most of my free time reading Gadddis and Edwards after school. I have an essay due tomorrow and Narindar has explicitly expressed the need for readings. Lots of readings. I think I looked really studious since even Immy and Charles were all, "wtf you're really studying?"-ish. Well yeaaah. I'm sad about it too. I have no life.

Mmyeah, anyway I was really glad that Ian was my fellow turban-partner. YAY FOR TURBANS. I lent him a couple of my moustaches too. Gosh.

Everything was really in a daze for me, running around taking pictures with everyone. Immy, I think, rushed out inbetween his class to take a photo with me? Or maybe just mooch some moustaches off me. :p I was like, immensely happy. shhhhh.... :x

The impromtu band practice was alright. It was a simple rehearsal for the Student Council event. But the highlight of maybe the whole day was the jamming session (alright, it wasn't) after practice. OH WOW. IT WAS FUN LISTENING TO THEM. Nic, Jeremy, Sara were practicing "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and needed a drummer, so Imran filled in. Then Charles came in to fill in the bass/piano part. It sounded a little weird, not the normal version of CTMEOY I guess, but oh hey, I just love watching them especially... Then after the practice of CTMEOY, Charles played around with the pre-recorded music on the piano and Imran went along and just played on the drum set. Wow. Just wow. My poor english skills die when I want to describe the sheer awesomeness of it. Both of them later progressed to maracas and bongo. I wish I stayed in the room til forever?

<3

And so, back to my History essay.

Don't get me wrong,
whenever you're singing that song
Tell me if it's not enough
The times when I seem distant and rough.

It's just that,

I can't bear to look
At you
Yet my eyes are drawn
To the Outline of your face
Every expression,
Every crease,
Every smile
Every wink.

Brings me peace,
Makes my life worthwhile.
Then I blink,
And turn away,

I can't bear to look at your face.
Because my heart just can't take
This one hundred kilometre pace.

And I cry inside.

EDIT: I've just looked at all my pictures and realized that no matter how naturally straight my teeth are, they are ugly teeth.
