Mmm. Like the Japanese test was today and I stayed up til 1:30am last night to study for it. It was more of a flip-through-notes and try to memorize the vocabulary and things like that. I was quite terrified of the test because there's an oral segment and like written (besides multiple choice) so I panicked a bit during the revision.
But all this was really uncalled for because the test was really. Easy. Especially the oral. I was expecting some level of conversation between sensei and the students, but it was just this "point-to-the-picture, asks the question, you answer" thing. She pointing, of course. And it was quite corny because one sheet had this whole 12-month calendar on it and she'd ask me Valentine's Day は何時ですか？And the answer is obviously 二月十四日so it just went like that. And there was a picture of a cat in the box so the question was "Where's the cat?" and I got a little confused with はこandなか because sensei was all "Oh people get mixed up with these two words and go haka and koka." :\ So I said it really slowly. The funniest (D:) part was when she asked me to tell the time and I went "二…二…二時四…二時四十五ぷん…え！！ふん！四十五ふん！！" LIKE SIGH. But I was declared a perfect score so yay!
The written test was nice too, though I got confused with the particles. :( I randomly inserted them. So no perfect score there. But I think I'll do quite well? I feel smart.
'Slike after the test I got a text-message from Sim that she, WenHan, Nana and Chingyi were around the area and wanted to go shopping. So I agreed to tag along. MY FEET ARE IN PAIN. They are such insane shoppers (probably because they are like. female.) and it makes me so tired just to follow them around. Ching was on this hat-craze faze and went to every single shop that had hats (newsboy caps to be specific) and tried them all on. The rest were like, looking for earrings and stuff. I checked out my communist bag and it's S$25, quite a good price and the saleslady was really happy that I showed interest in her wares. I was all, "But it seems small.... I don't know if it will fit all my books :\" and she went, "Are you a secondary student? No? JC? Don't worry! This bag is actually very roomy! It'll definitely fit all your books! You have lockers right? You can put most of your books in your locker so you don't need so many books! And the material of the bag is VERY GOOD. It's water resistant too! It's made of very good material! And the strap won't come off because see here? It's sewed very well..." So I told her that I'd be back tomorrow to buy the bag (WHICH WON'T HAPPEN BECAUSE I'M NOT GOING OUT ANYMORE! :\) and she was "YOU MUST COME TOMORROW!!!!!!"
I swear she could be a propaganda member of Chairman Mao's party. XDXD
OKAY THIS MAKES ME REAL MAD.
