:D It's a dress! But I wore a turtleneck underneath. Haha, I had a girl keep on complimenting my outfit today which was a bit weird, and sad because it was a girl NOT A GUY :(
most girls compliment me on clothes more than guys. I think in general guys don't think about what clothes girls are wearing LOL - I'm used to it thoughm, being in lolita and all.
it's nice! i rarely get complimented on my clothes (though, back in SG i used to only wear t-shirt and jeans lol) and i've only been willing to dress up lately so :D i like being complimented?!?!!? still man, EYECANDY SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MY CLOTHESSSSSSSSS!
also, i realized (only now!?) that i really like the lolita aesthetic? but more otome-kei (? I AM GETTTING TERMS ALL WRONG, AREN'T I!) and well I LIKE LOLITA OMG NOOOOO
OMG YES PLEASE LIKE OTOME-KEI BECAUSE THEN WE CAN DRESS UP TOGETHER AND SPREAD THE LOVE OF CUTE!!! if you wanna like, academic readings on otome-kei and how the fashion came about and all that I have papers (and 1 page summaries/datelines) as well for reference *______________*
I think SG makes you slack cos it's just so hot. I dress down there as well, but I still get compliments from aunties sometimes...compared to t-shirt, shorts and slippers a jsk + cardigan must seem really dressy.
HAHAHA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUT SO TEMPTING. I am unleashing a terrible clothes-loving monster!
Yeah, I really dress for comfort there, and I REALLY can't be bothered to look good in SG? But here, everyone's "dressed up" (by SG standards, I suppose) so I don't want to feel like a total frump! In anycase, I get to experiment with really crazy things that I can't get away with in SG! Like, having totally loud leggings, and just not dressing like Everyone Else!
I dress better overseas too. It's hard to dress down when almost everyone in uni is dressed in vintage or cool styles. I find that I really like to layer clothes too....you don't really get that oppotunity in SG to do that!
LOL I feel really awful but I just went shopping and got myself a miyazaki dress *_*;;;;;; stress makes me totally weird. but OMG. MIYAZAKI DRESS! (it looks exactly like a scene from howl's moving castle)
