spiderpigSo, best part about the first day of the STCC? Meeting Mori Chack-san!
Been a fan of his works and Gloomy Bear since 2002 (yo dude! I'm a snob and I'm proud of it!) and was estatic that he came to Singapore! Mori Chack! In Singapore!
Brought this along to the STCC:
And got him to sign it:
And closed eyes. ):
I'm really gross and fat. ):
So basically this happened:
Me:あの…森さん？(Um, Mori-san?)
Mori Chack:はい？ (Yes?)
Me:じゃあ、これをサインをしてくれませんか？ (Um, could you sign this for me?)
Mori Chack:うわーすごい！みてみて彼女はすごいぞ！ (Wow! Awesome! Hey, look at this girl! She's really cool!)
Me:あの、わたしは森さんの大ファンです。グルミのマーチャンダイズを全部集めています！(Ummm, I'm a big fan of yours. I collect all your merchandise!) <-- this was well obviously a lie because it's nearly impossible to do so.
Mori Chack:わあーこんのペンケースもあるよ！(Woww, she even has this pen case! And the keychains! *he taps the Gloomy and Pity wobbly keychains that I have*)
Me:あははは：D() (Ahahahaha :D() )
Mori Chack:ベビーグルミ！：Dこれをサイン？(Baby Gloomy!! Do I sign this?)
Me:はい！この箱！ (Yes! On this box!)
Mori Chack:ここ？(Here? *he's turning the box around and trying to find the right place to sign*)
Me:えと…ここか…じゃあここか？ (Er... What about here? Well.. here? *flips the box to the back*)
Mori Chack:わかりました！名前は？(Got it! Your name?)
Me:ソシです！(Soshi!)
Mori Chack:ソ…シ。はい、できた！(Soshi... Okay! It's done!)
Me:ありがとうございました！(Thank you very much!)
Mori Chack:ありがとう～ (Thank you!)
And I also got the photo with him and :D hurrah. He's such a humble person. I'll try to catch him in Japan next time!
Best thing is that he thought that I was fucking cool and he was like "OMG SUGOI" to his staff/friends and showing them the stuff I brought (which were mainly a couple of swings, the pencil box and my wallet. I have like 3 more wallets at home, a memo block, lots of magnets and like other random Mori Chack stuff. Like kumakikai.)
))))))): THEY WERE SELLING PARTS OF THE WALL YOU KNOW? I WAS BUSY QUEUEING UP FOR STUPID LEDKINS SO I NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO BUY A WALL-PIECE. Sobs. But Mori Chack thinks I'm cool so fuck all that!
