That large thinge called a conscience. It plagues me, and every single action I take or decision I make. It makes me uncomfortable when I have to weigh between Lectures and Assignments.

Opportunity cost sucks.

The packet of curry roux I had is more or less expired so I decided to take my day off to cook some, since my brother and I lacked lunch. I was a little too ambitious because I figured that I should use BOTH packets of Hokkaido White Curry roux since it'd be God knows how long till the next time I cook again. So I er, cooked too much. I still have a pot of curry left (probably going to bring some for Ying Zhi tomorrow) and I'll be having a Curry Week. =A=;; If I get served curry on the Ship, I will go mad hahaahha.

So anyway, yes. It was supposed to be white curry -- meaning that it had to resemble my other favourite, Cream Strew -- but I botched it up and it ended up looking like very mild curry.

Yes. My mom went and dumped brown rice (well it's not really brown rice but I don't know what it's called) into the rice cooker so it's like, brown + brown and very Un-White Curry-ish right now. ):

STILL! IT TASTES AWESOME! I won't say what I added (my sekrit ingridient) because YZ has yet to try it!

I'm stuffed!

EDIT: Tee hee, it looks like the Onion is going "No! I'm about to be eaten!"

In other news,

Here! GAAAH! )

She's gorgeous. But also 7,410 yen. Due December though, and I have nothing on order in December! Gah. Just when I thought I'd stop buying figures. BUT. THIS STILL KEEPS TO MY ONE-A-MONTH RULE (A.K.A S$100 budget)!!

My attention has been brough to havemercy, a sci-fi fantasy (hello favourite genre!) and what I'd like to call steampunk-ish book written by two 21-year-olds via e-mailing and well, very magical means.

I have yet to read the publication, but I really want to, after hearing and seeing snippets of it.

It has metal dragons. How more awesome could that be?

Plus the fact that they're 21 makes me really inspired to make something of All the Soarings of My Mind Begin in My Blood (working title, will be reworked, of course). I really want to develop those 12 (or 20 I can't remember) pages into a full-length novel as soon as I can. It's a pet project of mine and having it worked in the writing workshop during the summer was definitely a big help. I'm probably starting a notebook of Soaring's world history and happenings, I want to do steam-punk though probably without dragons this time. It should be sexy (lol), witty book which deals with well, supposedly philosophical topics. Well the later isn't important. What I want to write is something which knocks people of their feet and make them clamber up just to get knocked down again. That sort of spell-binding book.

I've got the main character's voice down - the workshop loved her personality, as do I - and now I just have to flesh out everything around her. I don't need to give everything away, but I shouldn't be holding too much back.

For now, I need to get my hands on havemercy and get myself inspired.

I was searching for some old LJ posts and I happened to come across some that I wrote when I was still in JC and gosh, I was angsty.

And I think I wrote better -- probably because I simply wrote, and didn't think about what I was writing (until it was too late). XD

I'm detestable, I'm spazzy, I'm drugged, I'm on coccaine mixed with heroin and a shot of ecstasy. I'm eccletic and eccentric and I ramble off and keep silent for hours on end. Thank you very much world, that's me for you.

And not you for me. :)

Very. Teenager.

I think I'll be reading most of my old LJ entries when I feel like procrastinating. It's nice to see how my journaling style has evovled.
